The H23 has shorter gears, so you can get into your powerband quicker, which in turns means better acceleration. However, if you do a lot of freeway cruising, expect to be at about 4000rpm @ 80mph.

Keep the F for turbo. The H23 is alright but I would prefer the F.

Damn talk about bad gas miles on your car.But yeah I'm going to keep my f tranny so I'll have the longer gears for boost.

H series for turbo as well unless your making 400+. f series motor is better for cruising and top speed but thats about it.

Isnt that what you want when you turbo a car? Haha Unless you wanna build a frank trans. Use the first 4 gears out of an H22/H23 trans mix and match and throw an F22 fifth gear in that that would be a pretty decent trans IMO.

                no.

longer gears are only good for more gas mileage and nice cruising rpms.

if you want to be faster, then you need shorter gears. why? because you will accelerate faster. if you have the power at least.

Well yea technically taking it to the track that is true. But DD why would you want to drive around on boost doing 3800 around 80 with an h23 lol. I say make you a hybrid trans lol first 4 gears out of an h22 or h23 as I mentioned an F22A 5th gear.
