Help Idle Surging/ Sensitive Throttle !!!!!!!

ok so i just swapped in my Dohc f20b and the idle surges from 1200-1500 and when i press on the gas after ive shifted it into gear it boggs down a bit the revs really fast but when i press on the gas in neutral it revs fine no bogging any ideas what it could be?

bump please any help would be greatly apprecitated cause tommorow is the last day i can work on the car and i gotta drive it 110 miles back home so i can go to work on monday...........hmm i might have figured out the 4500 thing but not sure. I'm using uber to tune and the FTLs/Bcut was enabled would that cause me not to go past 4500 or is that just in neutral/clutch pressed in?

why would he use the pt3? if anything, use a p13.

woh did you purchase the ecu from? It could be just a bad burn on the chip. Instead of buying a new ecu first, have someone send you a different chip to see if thats the problem.

or hell, run the ecu alone, without the chip installed to see if the ecu is really the problem.

if it works(it will run like complete crap, but as long as it turns on its good) it could mean that whoever chipped it did a bad soldering job or the burn on the chip is bad.

make sure that the map they burn is some sort of basemap for your engine.

ask deev to email you his h22 map, then you can email it to them and have them burn that map to the chip.

it wont be good until you tune it for your car tho.

but maybe, this march or maybe sooner, i will have an f20b dohc map.

wait, so you have a chip burner?

just use the same chip you have dude.

make sure you install it correctly
this is the front of the chip, with the half mood notch up top

make sure you put the chip like this

there should be 2 spaces left up top.

also, when installing the chip into the ecu, make sure that the notch is facing the plugs(facing the metal switch on the blue zif socket)

                            what map are you using?

just pm deev and ask him if he could send you his map. it should run alright until you get tuned.

do you have all the drivers installed and are you burning the chip correctly?
