If your looking for the most power stop modding honda's. you are modding a honda for a reason, to do it your way, to get what you want out of the car.
I used to own a 2001 mustang cobra with 4.30's and a 75 shot of nitrous.. lets see a swapped H accord with even a 60 trim turbo on 15 psi keep up with it... there is a reason why i sold the cobra. i like honda's, don't care about how fast my car is.. just want it my way and hopefully along the way get props for what i'm doing. its all personal preference... IMO
I know of more that a few h series accords around here that will hand a cobra its ass nitrous or not. My lude would walk away form high 12 second cobras from 50-125mph.
Anyways k series swap would be awesome in an accord. Tho I'd much rather swap in the v-6 the k series motors respond so well to even little mods. I've seen stock k20s in RSXs go from 14.9 before k pro to a 13.8 run with it. It just blows my mind.Oil leak? What oil leak? That's just sweat from all that horsepower!

I saw this car for sale and went through my brain thinking "where or who or how could i borrow $13,500?".I talked to some friends and i started thinking no I would have to drive the car as it sat for a year to pay it off! I would have stripped that CD and swapped all the shit into the CB for yes baluuggh status. The mounts for the CD aren't even available as of now! And i think the guy may have thought i was joking when i asked about the CB chassis.IDK imo $13,500 is a little too much to pay for a 1995 Accord even with a K and it's not a CB!lol. Especially to tear it apart and use it for one expensive parts car!I did talk with the owner of the car as well and he is selling it as it sits, I ask him because HASport said he was taking the motor out and putting it in a civic and H22 would go back in Accord and i was like .I Will get the link to HS up for you.
It is staying with the K series though.

They run mid to 14's stock, in a 3500lb fully car.
Imagine it in a slightly lightened CB with some mods.
I posted videos in here not too long ago of a bolt on 7th gen V6 6 speed walking on an EVO VIII and a modified SRT-4.

lol so your lude would keep up with a stock cobra!!! woohoo.. i was hanging with mid 11 second cars.. lol good one tho. 03-04 cobra's run 12.8 stock if not faster, 99-01 cobra's run as low as 13.3 stock.

Well, with his nitrous he is well into the 13's so I don't see why he couldn't hang with them... He never said they were built, or that he absolutely destroyed it either.
The Prelude was capable of high 14's stock, on less power than the Mustang would have required. It is a simple matter of power vs weight. The Prelude is a lot lighter. He also mentioned that it was not from a dig. Hondas are stronger from a roll than they are from a dig due to their setup, and powerband.
Also, the 99-01 Cobra may have been capable of hitting 13.3 in some extreme cases. The average one isn't that fast. In the ongoing battle between Camaros and Mustangs, the 4th gen SS was typically a smidge faster in a straight up equal mod drag race, and 13.6 stock for one of those was considered superb. Realistically, most of them fall into the mid to high 13 range, maybe low 14's if they are weak.
A deep 13 second car is a deep 13 second car, regardless which emblem is on the hood.
Also, it is easy for a driver to lose the race, in ANY car so never count out the human element.
Times are also not comparable straight across. The conditions on one track may lead to a slower or faster ET just because the tracks are different. Then you factor in Temp, altitude etc etc and you can't really conclusively say that one car is faster than the other without having them head to head on the same track under the same conditions, unless there is a HUGE gap in ET.
As far as the 03-04 Cobra, with 400HP and a Supercharger, it better run 12's.
If this turns into a pissing match, it will be locked, and people will be banned.
The original topic was a K swap into the Accord. Please keep it that way.

power to weight? do you know what my 01 cobra weighed? 3520lbs with me in it and full tank of gas.. maybe what 200-300 heavier?? 4.30 gears made me pull 6 more cars on my friends 99 trans am with all bolt ons and 3.73 gears from a roll.. sorry my friends SRT-4 with GT3076R at 21 psi couldn't hang with my cobra withOUT spray from a roll.. anyways enough fighting about my old car!! i sold it cuz my love is honda's, even tho i miss my cobra..

As cool as the K series is though, I would still rather see J swaps.
only problem with the j series is that honda had such a spotty track record on the tranny's. first the 6th gen acccords, then the odysseys. we'll see how the 7th gens go as the mileage climbs.....
