ok i know the h23 came out of the prelude in japan and the united states...what about the jdm f22b non vtec..which vehicle did it come out of ????

also i see hmmotorsonline sells h23's but no f22b's where do you guys buy yours from??

thanks i am contemplating a jdm f22b or jdm h23 swap due to its ready for turbo status and low mileage

This engine was used in the 1992-1996 Honda Prelude Si in Japan. It is similar to the H23A.

I got mine from makoto on ebay. super fast shipping, but not the cleanest engine.

only sensor that was broken was the tps.

the reason i asked... cuz hmmotorsonline claimed they were selling a "JDM'' H23 which i only thought was USDM..

but you explained to me .. it was EDM thankz bitch.

From my findings there is no H23 motor in any 92-96 prelude in Japan. There is only two trims si and si vtec and the motors are F22b DOHC and H22A DOHC, thats it. Also to clear something else up, I think i've seen in a beginners thread a list of engines and among them were a F20 DOHC Vtec SIR fir 90-93 Accords and also there is no such motor or trim for the 90-93 Accord. These are the trim and motors I found.
