          If a motor mount company were to create Mounts and Axels to make this swap time and money efficient it could be great, til then, stick with the H or F.

                Even then, $4500 for the motor plus $1500+ for the kit (you'd need not only engine mounts, but adaptors for the shifter and axles as well) and you're looking at some SERIOUS money. Not to mention the floor surgery needed to accomodate rod shifters... or an adapter plate to use an F/H transmission, which wouldn't be geared to properly take advantage of the motor.

                Assuming a company could make a kit that made the swap simple, it still puts it in the $6000 range. For that price, the motor doesn't have enough power If you're capable of assembling an engine yourself, you can build a VERY potent turbo F22 for that price!

                        just let the guy do the swap and let him tell us about it after.

                        no one on this site hasnt been brave enough to do it, so let the guy be the lab rat.

                        once he has that done, hopefully he'll find someone to go heads up with an h22 set up with the body weight not tampered except the engine. and see the results.

                        b series vs h series on the track auto x/drag on a cb. i would like to see that.

                        by this we can prove the advatages and dis-advantages.

                        but at this stand point i still believe the h swap is more ideal. until someone actually attempts to swap a b series motor and spanks an h22 cb all around.

                          Well if he wants to do it, by all means it is his money, but I already know the results.

                          I have seen GS-R's (yes multiple) run against Ray's old car (autocam H22, F22 tranny, all accessories installed and working), with the same level of mods.

                          His car walked them all pretty good, and it was a good 300-400lbs heavier than a GS-R.

                          Based on that, what do you think will happen?

Hell the f22 cb7 will give the cb7 with a bseries motor hell in it. The f22 will have more balance than the power in it with the motor. The b motor in the cb7 wont be effective for shit and the money that will be spent pointless. By the time you even get into the revs you wont go anywhere they like to be revved out high.
