Ok, I took the "judging from your car's appearance" comment to mean that he should do something totally rediculous... sort of like saying "while you're at it, change your vtak fluid"...

The only motor that makes enough power to justify the custom work is the K24 from the TSX. It's not much more powerful than the H22, and it's usually more expensive... not to mention the cost of getting it installed. Still, if you DO get it installed, I would love to see it!

Keep in mind a K24 swap is going to cost you AC and possibly power steering...

Also, this isn't a knock or anything, but Hondas are nothing like GMs, so you can pretty much throw a lot of your learned techniques out the window! LOL!

Nothing like VW either... My friend has a GLI, and I feel like a total noob looking under the hood.

if you are sure that you have the resources, go for the K24 motor. you can always swap the k20a2 head onto the k24 block and make some nice streetable hp numbers. also, it wil be different. and you'll be the first to swap a k series into a cb if im not mistaken..

k24 dont use timing belts, what does it use to spin the crankshaft in correlation with the cam gears

The K series uses a timing chain.

Imo i like the H/F series motors over the K series. The whp & tq #'s are not impressive to me for the $$$. I'll admit i still have more to learn about both motors.
