    obd1 or obd2??? plz help.................

I'm finally buying an H22. The problem is that the person that I'm getting it from had the 2001 H22a4 USDM block and a 92-96 JDM H22a head. How should the engine be wired to OBD1 or OBD2??? I'm doing this myself and I've searched for about 3 hours and found nothing. HELP ME PLZ....

Stay OBD1. OBD2 is too much of a hassle to convert to.

are the head and block assembled together?

If so, chances are it's got an OBD1 dizzy, cause the head was from an OBD1 gen.

I'm not positive, but I think the only difference between the OBD2 and OBD1 motors is the distributor and maybe the intake manifold... but if you have a OBD1 head you probably have an OBD1 intake manifold as well.

The block doesnt have any electronics on it, as fas as i know.
