F22B for F22A tranny???

I just have a couple of questions


I have been thinking...and I might not go with the H22A...instead..

I want either an F22B DOHC or the F20A DOHC "JDM"

my questions are as followed:

1 Will the F22B engine bolt up to the F22A tranny?

2 Will the F22B harness connectors connect and work with the F22A ECU?

3 ^ if the connectors don't connect with the ECU..do I have to pull the F22A4 out..and take the wiring from through the firewall...and put the F22B wire harness in?

your answers will be GREATLY appreciated!!

im racking my brain..and I don't think I want the H series at this time...maybe sometime LATER down the road...but not at this time

2. Some people run the PT6 (ex ECU) or P14 (H23) or you can use the p39 which is for that motor OR a chipped p06.
3. Use your stock wiring harness.

yes it will. the fuel and ignition for f22ax and jdm f22b dohc are VERY similar. you will run a lil on the lean side with the pt6, but you should be fine for a while.

eventually..IM not gonna run LEAN..Imma tune it...before I take it on the street after I get the F22B DOHC swap...

don't want to hurt the cylinders from running lean....

I have a few things up my sleeve..I want to experiment with...

F22B DOHC...w/ ITBs and a DSM turbo setup

^^ fabricate an airbox plenum to sit on the ITB velocity stack lips!!

wish me luck...that ITB turbo setup wont be until AFTER i get the engine installed..and AFTER I save up

because that swap is gonna set me back some

i got my f22b dohc for 750 shipped including the 50 charge for them to fork lift my motor out of the truck and into my dad's van. cnsmotors.com

Great people,friendly, and my motor holds 180 psi compresion on all 4 cylinders.

my f22b dohc was 730 shipped, but i had to go pick it up and the nearest terminal. they dont ship to residential areas. if you have a business they can drop it off at, they will do that.

the engine is good, a lil dirty, but good. it runs great, I just got done installing it yesterday and finally got it running today. I can def. vouche for these guys.

No, it's not.

The only VTEC motors for us are the H22 and the F22B1.

and the h23 vtec. but good luck finding that one, especially at a price lower than what your car is worth.

I was NEVER aware that Honda made a H23A VTEC..

unless you're confusing it with the SOHC F23A VTEC from the 98 and up Accords!

H23 VTEC came in 6th generation AWD Accord Wagons in Japan. All were automatic.
