    HMotorsOnline...

i was just offered a 92 teg with a broken timing belt for next to nothing... the only problem is that i know from experience that a broken timing belt could also mean a blow motor... at hmotorsonline.com i found a b18c (gsr motor) for roughly $1900 with ecu but it doesnt say how much for shipping.. i live in CT... so if anyone has ordered a motor from them and lives in the area could give me an estimate? and how reliable their motors are?

if i did all that work to change a belt and the motor was shot.. id probably kill someone... plus the car is basically free so all the money i spend would be a nasty motor

There is a good chance your LS motor has bent valves. Same thing happened to my friends 90 integra and he traded it for a gsr motor in pieces to put in his hatch. Sounds like a good deal on your new motor, Good luck!

everyone on g2ic.com said that 90% of the time the valves do get bent...
another problem is that when they bend they tend to crack the end of the valve guide holes

guess i might just have to go vtec
