EU/Japan vs. US flywheel on 1997 Accord

I have a 1997 Accord in which the previous owner had the automatic swapped for a manual before I bought it 11 years ago. Recently the starter went out and I'm trying to replace it, but the replacement starter won't engage the flywheel. Also, the flywheel is worn on the edge on one side, suggesting that the starter was previously just barely engaging the flywheel. Upon further investigation, it appears that the previous owner swapped in an EU manual, not a US manual.

The EU/Japan flywheel does have a different part number from the US flywheel. Does anyone know if there is a different offset from the engine on these flywheels? Also, if I install an EU flywheel, do I also need an EU clutch pressure plate and friction disk, or will the US versions bolt up?

I went ahead and ordered the EU/Japan flywheel. It did solve the problem, confirming that the EU/Japan and US manual transmission clutch housings and flywheels are different.
