running way to rich, fouling plugs FAST.

I'm using a P28 on a stock JDM H22, with WiKKeDs base map... no codes are shown, but the thing is fouling plugs like no other (running EXTREMLY rich)


I need a good base map for a P28 to get this thing moving!

You should stop driving it and get a stock unmolested p13. Only run that ecu if wikked comes down here or someone who knows what they are doin to tune it.

after talking to phatdoughnut it looks as if the base map I'm running is probably the same as his.... man this is confusing the heck out of me!

Heh...thats strange cause the wikked's basemap is actually the map i tuned for deevergote (personally) So i know its a good map...unless wikked switched the version of uberdata it was done in. That'd account for the change. Gimme your email address and i'll send you a basemap that should work out well...you have a chip burner?

but I think its something else now... see I haven't wired Vtec and its throwing code 21 (Vtec Solenoid). which is also causing the ECU to go into limp mode (it won't rev past 3,500 RPMS).. could this be the reason its fouling plugs? I think I remember reading somewhere that when the ECU goes in limp mode it will go back to the stock fuel maps... but I dunno!?

Well if you dont wire up VTEC you should still be able to rev to like 6500 or something like that. Check your timing and stuff?

your in a form of limp mode it seems, but in limp mode it goes alot richer than the stock map whether it be chipped or not. Get past 3500rpm before you make any assumptions tho

ok, I was pming back and forth with wikked and he told me to go out and take the chip out of the P28, and try to start it... did that and couldn't even get it to cough... I dont think I'm getting any spark now! I put the chip back in it, and try again, and quit quickly because I smelt gas STRONG... checked everything and reached under the bottom of the IM and there is gas dripping off of it onto the ground...

Whoa thats not good. TO antiflood the cylinders i think you gotta key on and push the pedal all the way down to the floor or maybe you dont have to i forgot. But damn thats a lotta fuel and is your IM loose?

yeah peddle down hold turn the key over...if that doesnt work take the plugs out and let it vent ive been told this lets the gas evaporate out..and let it sit to do this.

intake mani is not loose... why would it have flooded the cylinders like this?
