    h22 swap problems

ok ill post again because it seemed like i was confusing some people...i swapped an h22 into my 93 honda accord...i went to start it and it did not start...the motor is turning over because the rotor on the distributor changes positions...by the way i have a clear distributor cap...i did the external to internal coil change...i have one question about the external to internal swap...after i splice the yellow/black and yellow wires together do i plug them into anything or just tape them up and leave them? someone suggested that i wasnt getting any fuel...i took the fuel line off and it was dry even though i have a full tank of gas...how do i get fuel to go into the line? and another person suggested that the firing order was wrong...i swapped in a jdm h22 internal coil distributor...what is the firing order, ive gotten multiple answers to this question ? can someone tell me the definent firing order? i checked all the wiring and everything is hooked up and everything is hooked to the ECU...this is obviously the first swap ive ever done...and on the distributor how do i know which peg to start from? or hook the plug wires into? i still havent been able to figure that out...and one last thing...could my started be bad? would that make the engine not fire? thanks for any help...

If you don't have any fuel to the rail, then then fuel pump isin't doing it's job. Check the FPR regulator and then the fuel pump to make sure both work. I assume the fuel pump was working when the f22 was in the car? Always check and re-check wiring to make sure it is correct.

to answer your external to internal coil swap, yes you just tie the two wires together and leave them in a safe place unplugged. the other wire is useless. i just stuck a 30A blade-type fuse on the connector, taped it up and secured it to the side. that should do the trick.

you can search the firing order on here. i don't know it from the top of my head. if your starter is actually cranking then it's fine. your engine is not firing is due to your lack of fuel. the main relay located under your dashboard driver's side actually primes the fuel pump before you turn the key and crank the motor. is your check engine light on during ignition?

there is no need to read the codes just yet. the motor isn't even on. the check engine light supposed to come on during ignition THEN turn off. if it stays on then it's your main relay that's faulty. change it and continue to troubleshoot. it's an electrical box high inside the driver's side dash with a connector attached to it. search here for more info.

you can try and located it then tap it with you hand or tool to get the loose contacts inside to touch. when it's hot my relay sometimes craps out so i just wait until it cools or i just tap the stupid thing. i say just replace it.
