F22B DOHC Steering Pump

Hey I have a question what setup can you use that will clear the hood without a problem? I see some guys have different setups on there F22B's and alot are really low on the block. That is the setup I need Just picked up a Carbon fiber hood and it won't clear the pump bracket like my stock hood did.

Try grinding down the bracket a lil but i doubt that will help. How much clearance are we talkin here? Why dont you just run no PS i mean its only a bitch when your still....My Accord PS pump hits my hood i hate it it turns out it was my high press hose and i solved it by taking a rubber hammer and hitting it a lil lower.

I guess i used the one i have cause I also don't know how to change the hose to fit the new pump. I have the accord pump on it.. or had i removed it for the sake of cosmetics!! So how to do the line?

use the stock bracket that came with the engine and the accord pump or the prelude pump. i am running the prelude one with a oversize pulley and did not need any clearance

The F20A DOHC pump uses the same hose as the F22...

I couldn't use the SOHC bracket or pump with my CF hood because it wouldn't latch let alone allow me to pin it down...

I don't have the original bracket for the engine.
So which Bracket and pump should i use or ask for?

i used my accord pump with the bracket and aem pulley. i cut off the left flange/bolt and bolted it up using the other two bolts. then i put the pump all the way down and used the smallest belt that would work.

i used the an h23 bracket, pump and power steering line from a prelude si. i had a donor car. i gots no rubbin.

does you bracket sit above your valve cover? I can't tell from the pics. I had to cut mine also but the hood i got a support is crossing the top of the bracket because it is higher.
