F22 auto to f22 with h22auto

Yeah it's a good question, I've got my eye on a h22 tranny at the moment that comes with the tq con. so I"ll have both to work with if neces (possibly getting the starter from them to ;thumbsup; I'm hoping this will go smoothly but I've got access to the shop for a full two months so if it doesn't I've got time

i think its like this, you have to use torque conv, and the auto plate(whatever its called) together from etheir the H or the F, i dont think you can mix and match.

So here's my question and the search button was used. I know the f22 and h22 trannies are virtually swapable with little effort, but what I find is that the common is throwing the h22 manual for the gear ratio. I'll be turboing the wagon and want to retain the automatic, I know the f22 auto is a pile of shit slushbox, yet the h22 auto can hold under quite a load of power, I'm only looking to go to 200 horse. Here's the real question has anyone put the h22 automatic to the f22? And if someone has what issues did you run into? If no one has than I suppose I'll be doing a DIY when I do this in Spring. Lastly who's got a H22 Automatic and TCM for sell

I just had that swap done. I had my mehanics do the work. To my knowledge it was not a difficult task, anyway if you need specifics i will ask my buddies for you.

Yeah I got it back a couple weeks ago and right now im trying to be a good boy and not drive hard but DAMN she pulls like a champ.
