Hmmmm IAB should be pre programmed in the P13 i would think and i think it should throw a code. Id run a diff ECU and check it out first and see what happens.

It was a stock manual p28 ecu. A friend of a friend of mine helped me chip it for the h22a.

better off buying a p28 thats chipped by someone here or a company. p13s are cool but cant really be chipped to help.

hmm so you mean that altering vtec, rev limit, timing and fuel is a waste of time on a p13?

Chipping the p13 is more of a hassle over the p28 as i have heard. I just got a p28 since i can also run hondata on it whenever i feel like it. There was one dude selling chipped p28. His sig was the one with the DC5 type R Rims. Forgot his sn.

v4lu3s: basically NAIL05 answered your question... I dont think its a waste of time its just harder... i driven my car with 2 types of chipped p13s and didnt like them. the p28 programs i have are much better imo..

the guy with dc5 rims is bustedlx. he has them but doesnt post anymore. i heard he has a shop so you might get that number if you ask accord_inspire.

Any local performance shop that specializes in imports should be able to chip it for you.

Well, I just finished my first H22 swap tonight, and guess what....no VTEC! I checked continuity thru the harness, pin fit at the ECM, tested the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch, oil level and pressure are good....I'm pretty much stuck. Bad ECM maybe?
