Anywhoo I've also conemplated the V6 swap...here are my thoughts:
C32 swap- The CD Accord V6 and all the Legends share the same blocks and mounts from what I understand. However, I'm pretty sure those mounts are not the same as the 4cyl ones. If you could get a Type-II Legend GS motor and a 1st gen 5spd Legend shell (no way you'll find a lonely tranny) you could make something work. That's 230HP and 200ish lbft to play with, probably for the same weight as a turbo F22...
As you can see in those pics the 2nd gen Legend engine runs north south so those trannies, while in abundance, definitely wouldn't work.
J30/J32/J35 (6th gen V6, CL/TL/Odyssey)- If the F23 is a drop in swap, I'm pretty sure these might drop in as well. The only problem is that the manual transmissions are rare, and since the engine runs in the opposite direction there's no easy way to mate it to an F22 tranny. If you have the cash to buy a Type-S 6-speed FROM THE DEALER go for it...but you won't find any on Ebay or in any junkyards, and the auto trannies are prone to failure. Still, 200-260HP would make our cars rockets even through slushboxes, so its up to you...
Honestly though if you have to ask "will it drop in?" odds are you don't have the knowledge/guts to carry it out. Any engine can go in any car is you reeeeeally, reaaaallly want it to. Fabbing up mounts and figuring out wiring stuff is not rocket science.

well sure a all motor H22 would make dat hp but think about it. a rb26 under the hood of a honda. then do a skyline head and taillight conversion. go 2 a hang out spot or somethin and people just might think its skyline.
like the dude said. it would b *** and repetitive 2 do wat every1 else is doin all the time. hav u heard of any1 puttin a rb26 in a cb7? no.

I am pretty sure the mounts are not the same. The CD Accords engine is transverse. The second gen Legend with the C32 is longitudinally mounted.
Theoretically though if the blocks are the same as the NSX, then you could whatever combination of Accord NSX parts that would make it work.
Also, the C32 puts down about 250WHP STOCK! If you start bolting stuff on, you could easily see quite a bit more.

It would definitely be possible to swap in a nsx engine, but it would require a lot of time, money, and knowledge. Has anyone else ever seen the crx that had a nsx engine in it? They had mounted it in the back like in the hatch part so that they could use the same tranny and all. It was pretty crazy. That would be nuts to see someone with an engine mounted in the trunk of their cb7 lol... if they did it with a crx then I'm sure someone could do it with our cars. Seems like a bit of a waste, but it would still be pretty cool. It would give you a pretty crappy weight distribution too.

anything is possible. you want to put a rb26 in your accord...go for it. only thing that is stopping you is some welding, some wiring, some body massaging..and a lot of know-how. hell, i've seen a cb7 pro-stock style. tube frame, big meats in back (converted to rwd) with a big block chevy. basically mounted a accord body on a tube-frame.....god bless the redneck that built it....anything is possible though...
The nsx motor swap, though a good idea, would probably not be any easier than the rb26 swap. I don't know for sure, and I'm not even going to venture a guess...but just because an engine from the nsx has the same letter code as the v6 from an acura/honda..doesn't mean it is the same. case in point, the f20c from the s2000. yeah, its an f series, but it shares more with the k series. physically, the motor and tranny from the nsx should fit. I looked up pictures of both trannies (accord and nsx) and surprisingly, they look similar in size and shape. It doesn't mean it will mount up to the stock mounts....but...if they can get the k series to fit into a cd5 (which means it will fit a cb7), then with some trail and error, you could get the nsx drivetraint to work (axles would probably be a bitch to figure out). Probably the hardest part will be the wiring. It isn't going to be easy. I would be some of the plugs will work (honda/acura is great at using the same parts across all their car lines) but, most of it is going to be custom.
If you want something different, something never done, go for it man. you are only limited by your imagination....

This originally started as a C30/C32 NSX into a CD5 thread so back to that. Does anyone here work at a dealer who might have access to head gaskets to compare the c27 head gasket to that of the the NSX C30/C32. If similar a head swap would be very feasable. Then following suit, a Comptech NSX supercharger given there was adequate hood clearance. Someone else's project, not mine.

Jarrett- I remember reading somewhere that the NSX motor has nothing in common with the other Cxx V6's. Also, the drivetrain would be a bitch to use as the shifter mechanism would be on the radiator side of the motor. What's so great about the NSX motor anyway? The motor from the TL puts out basically the same power and a lot more torque, and would work much easier in our engine bays...
