The c32 6spd tranny won't work.
I said this just at the top of this page:
Originally posted by gloryaccordyAs you can see in those pics the 2nd gen Legend engine runs north south so those trannies, while in abundance, definitely wouldn't work.

Well if there's nothing in common between C motors then that option is down the drain. IBut to clarify, I didn't mean to swap the whole long block and drivetrain over, just the heads if they were similar enough, being that they're both C motors. If not, oh well.
Then Cisco, can you give us a better idea of what you might have seen? Was it like a custom mounted job or was there anything remotley considered "drop-in" about it? Please clarify. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

As I said earlier. I remember reading stuff back in the early to mid 90s that alluded to the fact that the C30 was based on the C25/C27/C32 in the Legend. How would it be based on the C series in the Legend if it wasn't?
The F20C and F22 is a good example, but does not necessarily mean that they aren't either.
Unless someone on here has physically dismantled both engines and compared, then it is pure speculation.
As to the original poster. We are aware that you were originally referring the headswap. If it is possible, that is a good indication that the blocks are also substantially similar. If that is the case, then you would be better served by dropping in the whole thing as the NSX block is beefed up and is capable of the revs.

Speculation again but we don't know that the mounts are the same so the possibility lies that the block wouldn't mount up with a factory fit in the front of a CD. I suppose you could always build the C27 bottom end like you would for going turbo or something, then you could over bore and possibly use C30 internals. Tempting. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

sorry to interrupt, but those of you guys asking about that big block in an accord, here it is.. Its amazing how a lot of the interior is still retained and the car looks near stock, but there are clear signs of major modifications done to the car to accomdate it. lol.. that damn thing has a grey int (I WANT IT,.. lol).

Just throw it in. You do realize, the bulk of the space under the hood is taken up by the INTAKE MANIFOLD, right? Our blocks are probably no more than 8" deep. V6= no problem.

He had driveability problems out the ass with it apparently so I guess it looked better on paper than it actually turned out. But that's just what I gather from other posts about it.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!
