OPERATION THUNDERSACK is complete!!!!!

While I was on vacation in cali, my friend decided to put me to work.....

He decided on probably one of the hardest swaps possible, besides the K series swap.....he decided on a euro r swap.....and we initiated it in his Stock '97 Honda Prelude Vtec.....

The Project was officially named OPERATION THUNDERSACK.....So here are the pics....

Well The first stage of the whole operation was all about lightening up the chassis, so we did some sound deadening removal......So here goes the pics....

We broke it all up and spread it all over the place....

Now for the goodness....

Ahhh, the swap.....I have to admit, it wasn't easy.....I had a lot of help over the phone from 2point6 aka Scott Byars of Collective Racing, and also hush22....and even a little help from Steve over at Hmotors....But after it was all said and done, the swap turned out awesome.....

Stock H22A4....150WHP & 127WTQ....15.9@87mph.....horrible if you ask me!

This stuff cleans well.....Purple Power....


After about a weeks worth of work it is finally complete.....and to my suprise, it started right up!!!!

about 56lbs to be exact.....but there was still a little more we had to take out.....

Truthfully how bad is Road noise and things like that after taking all that shit out ?
I mean for me in my Sedan it isnt worth it if it makes it a horribly uncomfortable ride on long rides and such cause the annoying road noise ? let me know thanks

there really isn't much difference, it won't by any means make your car uncomfortable....and you will hardly notice a difference, unless you leave you interior gutted....

I honestly dont hear the noise in AZ, here in CA on the way to long beach yeah roads are fucked up.

p.s. I made 174HP and 143 TQ and it feels a hell of alot better, and its frikin fast.
