What kind of aerodynamic adjustments did you make to support such a high speed? As well as motor build?
As far as aerodynamics... the cb7 doesn't need any... Based strickly off my tach I was going about 145-150 which kinda makes sense since I was in 4th gear forever. I know aero plays alot but I dont see any reason why a modded cb7 couldn't hit 160 or better.
Oil leak? What oil leak? That's just sweat from all that horsepower!
113-115 on your P13. Weird. huh. Well i have hit Speed govener 3 times this past few weeks on the freeway, and I get bumped at 125 to the T everytime. I only have the M2B4 LSD runnin on Stock settings with the p13 ecu too.
but that maybe because I have reduced almost a good 350 - 400 or so Lbs. and or could be a bit more. not sure I can now push my car like its a go cart that being said I can only bench 190, can tell you how light its at.
I have a USDM ecu for my JDM H22A; and i got to 135mph, but i let go cause my tires are rated at 120mph.
My JDM ecu p13 only goes 110mph which is for sale 125.+shipping which includes a spoon chip, but you have to install it.
Its a JDM P13. My USDM P13 was around 120. These are both auto ECUs I wonder if that makes a difference.
I have a 2000 USDM H22A4 with a chipped p72. I once went about 140-145(speedo only goes up to 130 but I was pass that number) at about 6500-6700 rpms. Not yet at redline so Im guessing If Iwould have kept going I coulda hit about 150-155mph.
Its not the tranny that holds you back its the programmed speed govenor that does. To prevent people like you gettin into some serious trouble whenyou wrap form goin to fast.
