rear motor mount insert

    Damn, no one has posted since I did 3 months ago.
    Here's my install:

      You know you dont even have to do all that removin the intake mani right. All you have to do is take off the driver side mount the passenger tranny mount and loosent the rear bracket bolts starting form bottom to top but take the last bolt almost out but not completely. Then rock the mount in the upwards position just enough to shimmy it over the mount and done.

        why does you mount look small for some reason uslspct? anyway i installed my mount during my swap back in march. here is mine. maybe it's just the angle?!

          yo those mounts are hard as hell. i have bought them since 7 months ago and still havent' installed them because they are hard as hell.
          do you guys get crazy vibration on idle?

            Long time answer...Yes, I still have my auto and it vibrates a lot at idle. Might be less with a manual. And they are urethane not polyurethane like the front ES inserts and other es bushings.

              the prothane insert is hard as hell and yes it will vibrate the shit out of your car. they are very strong though, i finally got sick of mine and pulled it out (like 2 years ago) and sold it for $5 to a guy who says it works great and vibrates the shit out of his car too.
              I actually run a 94-97 front crossmember now, and use the insert for the front mount, which causes slightly less vibration than the rear insert.

              For the most part you will have to assume that the rear mount needed will be a dx/lx 5 spd mount, normally all ex and auto mounts are the mushroom ones....
