i recently bought a 91 accord 2 door EX with a rod hangin out of the block. Will i have to replace the whole motor or can i do some performance gains and swap blocks? Let me know my options PLEASE? there A**HOLES in the salvage yards around here are wantin $550 for a stock F22a1. So let me know guys.

man chunk it and go for the h22 but i would think you could just swap blocks.but im not the most knowledgable when i comes to motors so

spend a grand and get the h22.
you could just put a new block in there, but you probably dont know the condition of the head, why risk it?
in the long run you'll be much happier with the h22.

yeah i agree and of course i would LOVE to have an H22 but i am 21 years old have a 10 month old daughter and just found out i have another kid on the way so i can't really afford one right now. So let me know which blocks i can swap i was thinkin maybe i could swap an H22 or H23 block.
