I Need More HP in my 91 accord lx

I want you guys to advise me on what additional parts i need in order to get the maximmum hp from my f22a4. Currently i just have typicals bolt-ons: intake, headers, 2.5 catback, titanium spark plugs, 10mm spark plugs wires. Thats about it. And also its an automatic. hope you guys can help with amy ideas.

i didnt kno f22a4 comes in 91 lx.. hMMM i would boost it =) but u have an auto.. how about h22 5spd swap

The F22a4 is not in the LX. The F22a4 is the 90-91 EX motor.

With an automatic and just bolt ons...unless you plan on swapping or boosting, your only other options really would be a reground camshaft, bored TB and porting and polising of various pieces.

You could also do the F22a6 or H23 Intake Manifold swap.

Hey buddy welcome to the site by the way. Im in the same position as you. The best thing is a H22 swap. The question is do you want to swap to a 5spd or maintain the auto setup but with a H22.

hey I as well am in the same position but im not going to go standard. I would recomend the engine fix up: cams, pistons, head work, crank, also bored TB, bigger injectors, theres lots more stuff you could do to the Auto A4.

i was already planning to do that...havebout a turbo and then when the f22 blows up i can do the H22 swap

search around... What are your plans and budget? Do you like turbo? If you do fix up your old motor and then turbo that would be the cheapest of done right. Or you could do a h22 swap then build the h22 for turbo.

ok dude. if ur like me, then u aint got a whole lot of money 2 dump in2 ur car right now. for now, just get ur self an cat-back exhaust, intake(short ram if ur in an area where it rains all the time), and lower ur suspesion(cost bout $600 at the LEAST all in all). simple stuff like that will add on later. then u can add on crank pullies, tune the ignition and other stuff later.

Why in the hell would you just go and put on new injectors..???

im sure he wasnt talkin bout JUST puttin on new injectors. he probaly ment like puttin them on after or durin all the mods 2 the motor, like cams and stuff
