f22b head swap hp/tq gain from f22a6

i know there is a thread on the f22b swap...but the thread doesnt include how much horsepower youll gain..and how much torque you will gain doing the f22b head swap...now i know teh f22b engine...is 165 hp i beleive.....so im gussing from an f22a6 youll gain about 15-20 hp's is this a correct guess?? how about torque increase??? thanks..if there is a thread that shows hp and torque increase can you please point me in the direction of the link...

also with the f22b head swap..what would the hp and tq curve look like versus the f22a6.... will there be a spike in lower torque..or a spike in higher rpms...

the f22b has 160hp.

you will most likely feel the differance in the top end.I used to have an f22a6 and i know that at 5400rpm power died.The f22b feels strong all the way till 7k.

thats good stuff..yea the power on the f22a is the from like 3-4.5 rpms
i want to do a head swap on the f22a6....damn im gonna have to pull my engine i see...like you did in yours..where did you buy your f22a6 head from?..and when are you doing the h22a head swap?... ilikebigbutts??

You mean were i got the f22b head from?I didnt get a head,i got an f22b motor.The f22b block is almost identical to the a6 block though(different pistons), so an f22b head on an a6 block would be like swappin a hole f22b motor in.There is no need to remove your whole motor to do a head swap.

I plan on buying an h22 head and building in up and put it on my f22a6 block that is out of teh car now.
