My dad destroyed my H22 Trans

So the cars a bit too low but the "adjustable coil overs" are a bit rusted in their current position. Due to this I am really the only person I let drive the car. Cars swapped with an H22, auto trans (my beater car) and lots of goodies... So my dads car needed an alternator which I took off last night, had ordered and was going to replace today. He needed to go out while I was out today so he used my accord... I drove my talon which is more or less a race car at this point and I dont want anyone touching it but me. So I get a call mid morning... He bottemed out on a rough section of the road which is getting redone (and has been for over a year now SLOW PPL cant get the damn job done) and well trashed the trans!
So now I need to find and replace the H22 trans, im considering doing a 5speed conversion but dont feel like investing any more into the car. I just picked up a 99 Eclipse GST which will probably be replacing this accord, who knows.
I KNOW an F22 trans works but I want another H22 trans. I know this post is more or less me venting since its been a long rough day! Is it worth pulling the trans and seeing if a new casing can be put it (at a trans shop) on or just say screw it and get another trans!? Due to the costs of labor and all? Any ideas or opinions on this?
    Thanks

How bad is it busted open? Cant the housing be repaired rather than getting an entire transmission? If the gears or anything else isnt damaged why not just fix it.

Well in all honestly... dont get mad here the car was basicially for sale before this happened. Wanted to use that money to build a 6 bolt (1G turbo) motor for my 99 GST and that would be my 13 sec driver. I mean I love the accord and all its just I get bored of projects (yea its sad). Im sure a 5 speed would be better and more fun with the accord however I dont want to have to get a new mount welded on the frame... the rest would be easy to attain the parts. IDK what ill do at this point... Its got to be fixed (when I get time) but I swear this car does not like me or something. My reliable beater... yea oh well
I will look more at the trans when I get the car back, I have to go tow it home as the tow truck could not get it on the back... kinda too low so Im going to literally pull it home. (its only a few miles away and I have a truck) I feel the trans willl be more effort to fix then its worth.

              That is HILARIOUS!!!

TalontedTSi: Good luck whatever route you decide to take but get the CB back in and give her a good look over first. It may not be that bad after all

I'll trade you my complete f22a1 with 156k on it for your h22 with crap trans, the engine runs perfect, trans is good as a honda trans gets with that many miles, which isnt bad. Or I will trade you an f20a long block and some cash.

lol sry... I have a perfect F22 that I pulled out of this car sitting in my garage with 135k and well this motor is worth a good bit as it sits. I looked over the trans (and will attempt to get pics soon) It bottemed out and cracked the front bottem of it. Not really worth fixing as labor would be more then its worth. I can get a JDM H22 auto trans for $300ish shipped, a 5speed non LSD for $750 and a 5speed LSD for +$1000... at this point its going to be fixed but remain an auto. That exra money was what I has set aside to build my eclipse motor. But im going to pull the motor as I personally feel its easier to pull the entire damn motor then to just pull the trans.

i fucked hte trans on an f22 i had, one of the gear spindles went through the housing (towards the flywheel) and all i had done was took it to an aluminum welder and had him fix it for about 20 bucks...post some pics so we can see the damage to the trans
