I agree with the guy saying a b18 is stupid in an accord. H22 is much easier to swap in. But if someone wanted to be different then hell its their money... and if they do all the work themselfs...Oil leak? What oil leak? That's just sweat from all that horsepower!

On paper it wouldnt look that bad.
A 2700lbs car with a 195hp engine that came in a 2600lbs car.
IMO, i feel the c5 is by far a much better motor than the H22.
Just look at all the aftermarket support.
That alone would get people thinking twice about the H22 in an Accord.
But, stock for stock, i think the H22 should be able to take on the c5.
Just look at the specs on the two motors.
Now, on real world situations. It would look pretty bad.
Think of all the wiring, fabrication of mounts, and custom designs
you gotta come up with just to get the Motor in and the Car moving.
That ordeal is what turns people away from the whole swap.
IMO, i think its such a headache.
The only way i would do this is if i have a B18c5 laying around.
(the chances of that are like 1 in a Million)
An extra car, no G/F, partime job, wealthy parents, plenty of Friends
and last but not least, alot of connections on parts.
Just my Dose Cent-tavos ....

Yeah I agree GSR motor will be different but may not be worth the hassle for our cars considering the mounts. If I wanted to play around with mounts, I would try to shoehorn a C-series or J-series V6 instead if I had $ to play with.
However in Japan the weakest model Accord comes with a F-series SOHC 1.8 F18A that was used in the 4WS CB's and a 1.8 SOHC v-tec version in the newer Torneos and 97up Preludes.
So that said, powerwise a 1.8 liter can still do the job of getting u from point A to B but it's to satisfy enthusiasts that don't really care about performance or that don't have deep enough pockets to get the model with all the bells & whistles. They want to be stylin in the same kinda car that another person in the next lane has but with a 2.2 Type-S.I need a custom turbo manifold built....
