H22 blocks need to be resleeved for boost, that alone is $1g. Then pistons, rods, rod bearing, rod bolts etc, etc...if you build it properly for boost you are looking at about 3500 alone on the block.

You'll get pissed off pretty quick because you're always falling out of VTEC (unless I'm wrong here, I don't know exactly where the F series ratios would put you when redlining shifts). Either way, the difference between the 4.0 and 4.266 final drive ratios when used with the H is like night and day. Just do it the right way and get the H22A tranny.
Choose between 1 and 2.
1. Kick self in nuts all day because you tried to save money and use your F series tranny.
2. Be happy with how quick your car is because you spent a little more cash and used the right tranny Honda meant for the H22.

I've spent at least $500 in parts for seals, fluids, auto-->manual tensioner conversion, belts, plugs, wires, full tune up stuff, slave cylinder, master cylinder, new vacume hoses, wire, solder, heat shrink wraping, tape, etc... the list goes on. That's not even counting the price of the new clutch and flywheel or the $350 I paid for my 5 speed parts car. Did you mean $500 for those parts, or you are going to pay someone $500 to do the swap?Oil leak? What oil leak? That's just sweat from all that horsepower!
