244xxx isn't anything to get worried about. If you are burning oil that's one thing. If cylinder compression is weak that's one thing. If the tranny is toast that's one thing. Swapping in a newer, similar engine otherwise isn't worth the time and expense.
would the dsm turbo kit bolt up to the f22b2 motor? cause i wanted to turbo my accord and i really dont wanna turbo a motor with 244xxx miles on it

hate to bring back a 3 year old thread but why make a new one?

so i bought my cb7 with a f22b2 already in it but i have a problem with the driver side motor mount. the motor had the mount for the cb7 on it with only one bolt in, supposed to have two. not safe and mount broke anyways. so after that i got the mount for the 94-97 accord that the f22b2 comes in. it obviously bolted up to the motor but didnt fit in the mount bracket. so we grinded down the side of mount to make it fit and got it in and bolts lined up fine too. started up the car and noticed a loud grinding noise. so the crank was grinding on the wheel well. the we cut a whole in the wheel well and thats where its at know. runs fine i guess, except for when it pulls it goes to left and when i shift it goes to the right, i dont know if this is the reason but w/e. motor has a gangster lean and i want to fix it.

      options:
      1) get longer bolts and put washers between mount and motor? i was told its not safe.
      2) drill a hole in the bracket to make mount sit lower? maybe?
      3) yall tell me.

      heres pics:

1.the motor will fit wit minor changes
2.use all ur original parts from the f22a including the the driver side mount bracket(the one that goes behind the t belt cover)and ac,alt brackets the ps is different so u cut the original to make it fit or maybe u can use the f22b2(idk)
        3. Wiring u just have to extend the iavc cuz the f22a's is in the front and the f22b's in the back
4.is the engine obd1? If not injectors ,alt, dizzy will need to b obd1
5.ur original dizzy should work I kno the 90-93 ex,se work for the f22b1 sohc vtec
So maybe ur non vtec should work with the non vtec f22b2
5.if ur car is inter coil ur good if its outer coil use ur original dizzy if u want to change to inter from outer jus jump the 2 yellow wires that go to the outer coil blaster n use the inter coil should work
        6.good luck
