h23 distributor on f22b?

Hi, i need a new dizzy for my f22b.I searched around and found some mixed answers.I heard people say the h23 dizzy wont work on f22b(dohc).I remember rockandrice said something about turning his upside down or something?Then i read fushigires's thread about his f22b head swap.He said he used h23 dizzy, but didnt mention if he had any probs with it.I even heard of some one buying a 1990 lx dizzy and taking its guts out and using them on the f22b dizzy.I wanna buy an external coil type \dizzy, do all h23 dizzy's come externally coiled?Thanx.

you'll be fine with the USDM H22/H23 dizzy(external coiled); plugs right up to the JDM F22b and won't have any problems. i bought the H23 dizzy back then coz i couldn't wait for www.hmotorsonoline.com to send me a replacement.. and to this day, i'm using the same dizzy on the H22.

It does matter if its obd 1 or 2. Use the pure H23 and pick up an external coil.

yeah, i gutted the 1990 dizzy cause the place didnt have any h23 dizzys, only h22s. and those would work. I did it the hard way
