I whent and picked up my motor today, 300 bux for a DOHC f20a. came with everything but distributor. Guy up there said I can use my one form the f22a1. Is he right? also will my PT6 ecu control the butterflys on the secondaries? any other help on me swaping this in would be great.


Also picked up a true Mugen Twin loop muffler too

Any future plans for the F20A?

well I am looking for most anything I can get for it, I picked it out myself from osaka. I know alot of people dont recomend them but when you go there in person its different. I whent up in my wifes 04 cavalier and thats all I had to bring my motor back in. They took off the intake manifold for me, so it would fit in the back seat. Good guys IMO, only thing I see that is broken is the TPS sensor, which I can use from my accord when the swap happens. As stated before, it didnt come with the dizzy, so I will be looking for one of those. Im playing with the idea of building up the internals, incase I wanna boost. Im sure with the amout of PSI I would be running would be fine on the stock stuff, but I wanna make sure. As for the mugen axel back I lucked out big time. I saw it there on this past saturday when I was up there. One of the guys told me $150 for it. Not to bad of a deal considering there rare to find. When I whent up yesterday, I got it for $50.00. Plus I picked up a steering wheel, not sure if its a JDM lude or JDM accord wheel but it will be better than my bent one I got now.


Ive been researching this swap for awhile, any info, personal experiance with the motor would be great if you would like to share with me.

I whent to Osaka Motors in Montreal.

Ive heard horror stories but lemme tell ya, I cracked open the top today and I would eat of that bitch. The inside is so friggin clean. I am so happy. If you go there in person you get much better results.


And they have tons of JDM exaust's just sitting up there. Invidia's HKS, Greddy, etc. There were some mufflers up there I could almost put 2 fists in. If you get a chance to go bring american money, they love it, plus they dont charge tax when you pay cash. Just tons of random shit there. It would take a good day to go threw it all.

Its not whats all on the outside its about whats on the inside too . Once a rep is given like that from what ive been researching and heard about id never fuck with them ever and to everyone else here on this board you come to me to swap your motor and its from osaka imma tell you to pick it right back up because im not dealing with no headaches
