I would really like to see it done, that would be a nice swap. It's possible if u have money to fab up the mounts. The wiring is another difference as well. Hasport is supposidely gonna make mounts for our cars but have yet to release anything. If i had the money to do this swap i would.

being an integra owner and on the integra forum alot, theres alot of talk about this swap, i just hate that the torque in the k-series are kinda low, almost like the b16, i cant remember the exact specs on the k-series motor off hand tho.
but hey since alot of people havent done this swap...at the moment it would be very hot to do.Back up and Give me 50 feet

as much as that motor will cost you, you just might as well get the Euro R motor. but if you get a K20, be smart and put that biotch in a hatch.Used To Be The One & Only H22 Powered CB7 In Oklahoma! ! !

I seen a k24 in a bubble beasting it rocked 12.6 all motor car so go figure and the k series was on bf and the other was on full blown and on top n the k24 civic had im by 4 cars. My boy building a k20 turbo in his coupe and the guy said he can make me motor mounts for a k24. So dont be surprise if u see k series in a cb lol. I been thinking bout doing a k24 in my car boosted undecided yet on what im do. You guyz know i have to come out strong all the time every year new season new look. Lol

you know.... even if it was to be made... how many people do they really think would put a k20 or k24 in a cb7.... i mean... no offense but accords don't have the demand like civics or tegs do.... i mean... it might happen... but i doubt it just cuz i dont' think it would sell enough...

Anyone with with some metal fabrication equipment, measuring tools, a K motor/trans & CB chassis, and some common sense can make motor mounts. If I had a K motor trans laying around, I'd make some damn mounts and post specs and how to make them but I don't. I know someone else out there has the same mentality as me so I wouldn't be suprised if someone from this site becomes the first to make mounts. I really doubt aftermarket will sell mounts (at least not for many years) so it really is up to us, the individual tuner, to make this swap a reality.
Also making it a reality is gonna mean lots of other issues to resolve. Particularly the wiring. I would suggest to anyone considering doing this to get a full front clip for the TSX/RSX. That way you get all the ould mounts to use a templates for the new mounts, the complete engine & ECU wiring, fuse box, shift cables and shifter....hell you could even swap over the RSX/TSX gage cluster and dash over at that point. Basically set yourself up with anything you could need to make it work. Sell the leftovers.
If I do run across a K series motor/trans, I will make mounts for it and update this thread. I suggest some of you other guys do the same.
