2.5tl engine into a cb7??

On a scale from one to ten... how much work would you think it would be to wedge a 2.5l engine outta a tl in to a 91 accord


1 being a weekender to 10 being a 3 month project costing thousands of dollars...




Would be a sweet base for some forced induction....

not quite a 10 but its gonna be up there.

you gotta modify the engine bay to fit it which means custom welding, some relocation of parts may be needed as well, pluss the fuel system changes, OBD2-OBD1 differences, and the list continues to grow. It's possible, but not on a small budget.

I'm gonna have to agree here. The G25 engines are a pain to replace with the same engine... Let alone trying to shoehorn it in to a CB7. Besides, they only make about 170HP. You'd actually have a much easier time putting in a J30 Accord V6 engine. And you get more HP too...

YA i just could get one REALLY cheap with very few km's on it but even with the great price it doent really seem worth it eh? better keep looking
