Bit of confusion

I'm very lost. At work, I brought in this cd5 for an oil pan and axle job. I pop the hood, and there is a pretty 'alloy' looking valve cover. 'Hmm'(the Homer Simpson hmm). I mosey down to the ID Plate, it reads F22B2. This valve cover i know came this color because it has it's gouges, and shows no sign of engine-bake coating.

Someone help? Got a good motor code resource? Thanks.

if its plain aluminum that you are talking about most likely the previous owner just craped the black paint off...pretty easy to do once it starts to flake off but all the valve covers came black except for some jdm ones that were either red or blue

No, sir, it's not aluminum.

It looks like alloy rims lol, that same 'dull grey' look, and i know it's not painted cuz i took a screwdriver to the edge, so someone either did a good job of stripping/painting/clearing or they just bought the cover, which IDK lol, I just want the head, I believe it's VTEC.

See, I need a damn engine list!!! LOL The ones that I find SUCK.
