h22a head swapped to jdm f22b block

i just swapped a jdm dohc f22b into my cb9 not too long ago. i now have the opportunity to buy a complete h22 head including dizzy, intake manafold, throttle body, ect.... for a good price. anyone have any experience swapping the h22 head onto a jdm dohc f22b block i did some searching on this topic but my search was inconclusive.

Actually, no. It's not.

I would say follow the steps for the H23 hybrid. It's similar. Putting the H22 head on the H23 block is a common thing. The F22B DOHC is very similar to the H23. I think you'll have to block off a couple different things, but I'm not sure.

check it mike.. it is the same.. the f22b DOHC.. and the f22a block are IDENTICAL.. so.. therefore.. whatever u have to do to the f22a block (when doing the hybrid) ud have to do to the f22b DOHC...

when swapping on a h22a head.. the entire timming assembly has to be changed.. (crank timing gear, waterpump gear (f22a water pump with h22a gear) and the cam gears of course.. also u have to plug 2 holes on the driver side of the head.. using jbweld or what have u (h23accord used jbweld on his and its holding up fine)

so... yeah.. zoom was right
