wrong header!!

i ordered a header for a 94 prelude vtec for my h22a and the one they sent wouldn't fit. where it bolts to the head is way too wide so the ports and bolt holes don't match up at all. but it did fit on my f22 so my question is are the f22 and h23 headers the same? because i would like to let the company know what they sent me. and i did do a search for this info but i didn't find any deffinate answers. thanks

If you ordered a generic header off ebay I wouldn't be surprise if they sent you the wrong thing. I would contact the company and get some type of refund or replacement. If you bought it from an individual, then i think you might have gotton tanked. I konw I didn't answer your specific question, but hopefully this info helped

obviously, its the wrong header. they probably sent you a header for either the F22/H23 motor.

i ordered the header from a friend of mine that runs a parts company he is calling his supplier today to see what happened and he is going to order it again to see if the right one comes this time. but i would still like to know if the h23 and f22 header is the same so i can tell them what they sent me

good..but i told you already the header is probably for the F22/H23 motor

You're not answering his question. He asked if H23 and F22 dimentions were the same. What is the "probably"? He is asking a yes or no question

i said "probably" coz maybe it may not even be for the F22/H23 motor also. who knows what he really got. either way, he got the wrong header for his H22.

The answer is yes... the exhaust manifold pattern is the same on all F22Ax and H23A1... it's also the same on F20Ax's (SOHC & DOHC) and F22B DOHC's...and the F20Zx SOHC for that matter...
