    i found a f22b2

i was on the junkyard and found a f22b2 with 100k miles, i know this is a 130 hp, less than my f22a6, but i just pay $200 for it, i want to know what can i do with this engine a possible mod, head swap, and the main difference with the f22b1 ++15hp but why?

    Thank's for the help

you can do lots of things with this engine. h23 head swap, h22 head swap, f22b1 head swap, im sure if you really wanted you could swap your f22a6 head onto it. just build the block for turbo, then swap a h head onto it . . . youll have a great turbo motor

hey that sounds great, just wondering if i can use the f22a6 intake manifold in the f22b2 i think this include the head, the gains could be a few ponies? 5-10?

well, i know the best swap it's the h22 but at this time no enough money, just until i ends the college.

And the h22 head swap sound's good, im gonna look what did i need to do the complete swap

You're going to have a lot of fun plugging those passages It's been done on Honda Tech but the guy himself said he wished he used an F22A instead of a B, I say you just boost the B2 and be happy with it.

I Swapped a f22b2 into my 90 lx about a year and a half ago and performance wise there was a noticable difference, i think mainly because i ported and polished the head and match ported both manifolds. Your f22a6 manifold will bolt up, but the ports on the f22b2 are round and the ones on the f22a6 are oval, so they dont line up perfect, also the coolant passage in the intake manifold from the f22a6 doesnt line up perfect with the f22b2 head, so i would just stick with the f22b2 manifold, trust i used my f22a manifold and i spent many nights gooping up the manifold where it bolts to the head to stop the coolant from leaking because the ports didnt line up perfect.
