    F20a SOHC/ H23/F22b head swap possible ???

I have a SOHC f20a and was wondering if the h23 or f22b head swap was a plug and play deal. It seems like no one knows much about the f20a sohc and i was wondering if the swap is really worth it on that block. In other words after figuring in the crank, stroke, internals of the f20a would the power increase be worth it with this block, if so about how much of a power increase (im running an auto tranny). could i use the a6 intake manifold ? are the ports the same on the h23/f22b head ? what ecu would i use p39 or would i be fine with the pt6 ecu ?

wow.. this goes to show nobody on here searches anymore...

the h23a/f22b dohc headswap is the same as any other.. the h23a requires a different Headgasket and some hondabond.. but its still bolt on.. why would u retain the a6 intake manifold? when the one (corresponding head) is more flow efficient h23a/f22b intake manifold..

im sure ur aware that the f20a.. comes in DOHC form.. basiclly its close to the f22b dohc setup.. the f20a dohc had may have parts that are the same/and/or alike to the f22a sohc's or so zigen hopes.. he hasnt ripped one up yet.. but.. the f22b dohc is similar to the h23a..

theres a thread where a buddy of mien shows the f22a/h23a we did to his car.. also.. theres another member (shadetreecustom) who did f22a/h22a..

    f20a/f22a blocks are identical.. so w.e u can do to f22a. u can do to f20a ..

Thanks for the response. I HAVE done searches and got quite alot of info but the info was pertaining specifically to the F22 blocks and i didnt know if the F22 And F20 blocks were identical internally. This is not to be an @$$ because im sure ill be needing your help in the near future.

with all of these questions about head swaps i think that means its time for a **head swap** sticky...doesnt nesc. mean the questions wont stop..just seems real popular now.

          i feel for the mods.
