    Issued ended up being intake came was a tooth off timing, All fixed now. And car is still for sale lol

      Glad you got it fixed, but the engine should of ran like shit while not in VTEC too. Guessing the added lobe adjustments VTEC does made the issue worse.

          So when we advanced the timing it would run good at higher rpm's..from vtec engagement(4600) to about 5800 it would have the sputtering issue them around 6 grand it would pull hard but would be very sluggish down low. When we retarded it, it would run good at low rpms, sputter, then fall on its face. We kept trying to find the 'sweet spot' after 3 hours of this my friend gave up and mentioned the timing potentially being off affecting the engine when it's running on the vtec lobes significantly more than when not in vtec. So we checked it and sure as hell it was off.
