I want to swap my f22a in my 92 ex for a f22b, how bad was this swap? any info on it would be great, I'm ready to order an F22b if this mod takes minimual modifications.

i think this swap into a 92-93 requires some dizzy mod. but other than that the swap is pretty easy i had some problems w/ the powersteering and clearance of the hood, there are a couple of sensors that need swaping, but the swap is pretty straight forward

Just b/c U post more doesn't mean U know more!

What did you do to fix the PS and hood issue? Is the fix just simply removing the bracket that holds the PS and A/C on and RR on the F22B?

Is the Dizzy mod the Internal to External coil mod?

          goatx12,
the swap is straight forward, i used and h23 dizzy, stock ps line , no hood issuses, just to it right, t/b, water pump, major tune up. you don't need 94 octane, it'll run fine on regular, i run 93 for personal preferance, the f22a6 ecu will work for the time being. to do it right, get the ecu for the f22b dohc motor (p51) the p39 is sohc vtec f22b 94-96 accord jdm ecu, or the p14 h23 ecu and add a knock sensor. do yourself a favor, buy your motor from a know reputable dealer, i got mine from ww.japanstarmotor.com. it's been in and running for almost a year. i could go on, but it's been covered 100x. btw, japanstar will sell you an ecu for a little extra $$ when you buy the motor.

          good luck.

got mine from japanstarmotor.com also. Runs good 6 months and going. only problems I had was ps pump clearance and a little wiring had to be done with the ignition.
