    f22b dohc acceleration problem

Ok guys I need your help!! Just finally finished f22b dohc swap in to a 91 lx 4dr. Engine looks great in there, but back to the prob. The engine starts and idles but when i try to drive it it hesitate w/ acceleration and even during cruise. I have no idea what this could be.

could it be spark plugs? bad gas? vac. line ? i'm stumped to the 10th power

Just b/c U post more doesn't mean U know more!

one thing it could be is your ignition timing. Use a timing light and check the flywheel. I've read before, and heard, that if your ingition timing is highly retarted then you could experience a lot of power loss. Be very careful of over advancing though, you dont want detonation or ping.

    good luck

do you have a check engine light
make sure you have a knock sensor
make sure all your injectors are working
            use a h23a ecu

                Little help

This could be a number of problems:

First, is your CEL on, if yes then fix whatever code it's throwing.

How long has the same tank of gas been sitting in your car.
JDM engines need good fuel 94 octane or higher to run good
Therefore if you think you have water in your fuel add a bottle of gas line anti freeze to your tank and top off with higher octane gas. Wait a few minutes 5 to 10. If it's just poor fuel than add octane booster instead of anti freeze.

Next Distributer timing is also a probable cause as retarded timing will cause poor performance but supprisingly still a good idle.

Other that that I would need more details about the swap to help out more.

                Good luck

i don't have a knock sensor b/c i read you don't need one depending on what ecu you're running
how do i check the injectors?

Sounds like its ignition related...did you replace the dizzy cap and rotor button? If not check those...also check the ignitor.
