use f22a parts, that's the bottom end you have.....and are you talking about 170whp? the h23a1 doesn't make that.....you aren't making more than an h23a1 does with stock everything else
dammmmnnn.. u wilding man! thats mad low.ima have to put my car on crack, man.( aint getting no were near 300whp..huh??)

umm lol why would u need h23a parts?? its an F22A BLOCK.. that made no sense. i know a few ppl have posted where to get F22a internals..
i'm still kinda undecided if ima use the f22 bottom or h23 bottom so i wanted to c aftermarket parts for both. i mean if the f22a has more support then by all means im going frank if not then ima just go h23,or f22b i dont really want v-tec.
    I Ain't cocky,I'm confident.And when u say im the best it's a compliment.!

u can still run it with ur stock ecu, but i and all others who know about this, would recommend using the h23 ecu. u will get a lot more performance out that way, since ur stock ecu is made for sohc cars, and not dohc. as for HP, umm, i would be guessin around the same as the h23(160ish Hp), dependin on what all u swap, but i think that u HAVE to swap the whole topend from the h23, cuz the Tb from ur stock car doesnt fit the h23, and y would u put a smaller intake manifold on such a good flowing head?

we really need to get someone who has done this frank on the damn dyno :cough:teckert:cough:

lol i see some of my words being preached thru u.. but u fucked up a few times.... lol heres the corrected version

u can still run it with ur stock ecu, its best to use the H23A ecu (p14) due to the ignition/fuel curve of that ecu compared to the f22a ecu (pt3), . u will get a lot more performance out that way, since ur stock ecu is taylor'd around the f22a (fuel, ign tables), and not the h23a's fuel, ignition tables. as for HP, umm, i would be guessin close the same as the f22b DOHC(160ish BHp), dependin on what all u swap(head only or/ intake manifold, exhaust manifold etc, and y would u put a smaller intake manifold on a decent flowing head?... the F22a1 (LX) intake manifold isnt the best canidate unless its going to be honed out hardcore.. at minimum id suggest a f22a6 I/M (EX,SE)

YOU CAN. use the h23a intake manifold
make sure the ecu in ur garage is infact a P14

whp is yet to be known.. considering no one has dyno'd one yet

                    h23 ecu swap

will you have to change wiring harness to fit the p14 ecu

i have heard that the p14 ecu is best for the swap do you have any info on this and if it is do you have to change the wiring harness thank for the write up

no.. u do not have to change wiring harness'es and IMO no the p14 is not the best.. its made for the h23a which has 9:8:1 CR and has a bigger combustion chamber.. so fuel/ignition characteristics are off.. its ok to get u by but not the best.. also considering u have to wire in the KS sensor.. damn that..

for the trouble id just buy a p06.. and learn how to read uber.. but thats just me.. if anything the p39 i believe is the original f22b dohc ecu (JDM) and can be had.. its better suited..

id still get a p06 thou

even with the h23 intake and head use the p06 or the p14
                          thanks bro

this thread is sweet, I did'nt know this was possible this should have a sticky on it. How well does this swap do with boost, does anyone know the compression ratio you will get? I like to keep it low.

So would one have to get a short ram/cold air intake for the h23 then if you switch out the IM? Thanks.
