where the hell are you guys getting your motor from that are so expensive. Thats why you are supposed to shop around first, before you grab off the shelf. All the m/t/e shops where selling for 2500 or 2600 until i got to Nouyan, in manassas. They get engines everyday to stock up, and i picked mine up for 2050. It had all feed line pluged not duck-taped, and they are in exelent condition, with a like purple power done to them. I am not haten on anyone, i say good write up, but come to me if you guys want the cheap motor.

You all are crazy. Stick with local shops or goto Ebay if they can beat the local deal with SHIPPING INCLUDED!!!!! Here's my local shops webpage:

          H22 Auto

          H22 Manual

          H22 Type S

          F20B

          H23 VTEC

As you can see I can get an H22 under $2000, so to me that should cut the swap down and maybe put me in that much sought after $2500-3000 range. All I gotta do when I'm ready is borrow my uncle's pickup and show up with a fistful of pesos.

$4000 for an H22 swap. HAHA If any of you are considering paying that much then pay me ,I'll gladly do it. I paid 1800 for my obd2 motor(Had 24,000miles on the odo) and 400 for my trans. That comes to 2200. I paid $100 for a new clutch and $50 for the Dizzy ,$75 for the ijnectors and $200 for a chipped P72. total cost=$2625. Did it myself in 2 days. Of course once you start upgrading to better aftermarket parts or gadgetry(VAFC) then the price is gonna go up. But those things are not needed to get the car up and running. (IN most cases at least)

okay...for all of you who are saying that this was too much to spend, i could do it cheaper, blah blah freakin blah, take note that i upgraded a lot of things, like going with the apexi ws exhaust instead of a cheapo fart can...all i'm saying is that for 4100, i did the swap, and did it good...i had upgraded i/h/e, along with other things....i also got a bit of a warranty with the motor, and was able to hand pick the one i wanted...not to mention the fact that if something went wrong with the motor, the place was nearby and i could just take it back...
