I bought a 96' JDM H22A from hmo and am in the process of connecting my F22a1 harness to it when I noticed that the vtec oil pressure switch is missing and plugged with a bolt.
Before anybody gets too excited, no, this motor is NOT OBDII. Some of you may know that Japan continued manufacturing OBDI versions of this engine until mid-96' and that's what this is. I intend on running without it but I'm not sure how my P13 ECU will handle the fact that it's missing. I suspect I would have to hunt down a 96' P13 ecu or install a pressure switch if I dont want to get a cel. What are your thoughts??
