    Which tranny for boost?

Ok so I am building my Single came fully built for boost , now question is I have a chance to get a JDM M2B4 TRANNY (LSD) with hasport motor and tranny mounts for $800. Tranny only has 40k miles. Now is this a direct bolt on or will modification be needed? Post links if possible thanks!

      h22 is the best one
h23 would be a great all around tranny highway/city
f22 would be good but long gearing

      this is my .02 cents

If you can get the lsd trans go with it. I'm curious to know which is really the best. To my knowledge, the rsx people use the five speed and not the type s trans for longer gearing. They stay in boost longer that way.

If this deal is real jump on it.
The m2b4 is one of the top 2 best tranny for boost.
Mine held up good and the gearings are nice .

I thought u want longer gears for boost 2 ride out the entire rpm range.

I could've sworn I read that the h22 is to short that idly the h23 will b better for boost.

H2U5 or H2A5 if you are looking for long gears, but if you have the time and money then take 1-4 from an M2Bx and use an H2U5 5th gear .

Longer gears are generally better for boost. You spend more time in boost, and less time shifting and respooling the turbo. Now, that depends on what turbo you're running, and what you plan on using the car for as well. Most guys that want drag performance go with longer gears, so they run the quarter mile with one less shift.
