Ok so this is coming out of a 94 prelude. And the guy is telling me it's direct swap just use my distributor and intake. He says that is all I will need to do my motor is locked up and is the only car i have at the moment. But he wants my rims he said he would trade me for my rims and motor. So pretty much what I"m asking is. is a f22b dohc direct bolt in if i use my intake and dizzy. I have swapped motors before and have a big shop with any tools I will need. But never different motors always swapped the same motor to same motor. So how hard would this swap be. I have searched and can't find many answers.

The F22B head is pretty much the same layout as an H23 head.Originally posted by LadyG View PostIs it not like our Ax motors where the actual differences are in the heads/bolt ons?
If it is, than swapping any F22Bx motor would be the same, regardless.

as for the distributor...... dont get rid of you old dizzy yet a few years ago i swapped my motor and my dizzy went out so i swapped out my internals from my stock dizzy to the f22b dizzy shell and saved me some money cause pepboys want two hundred for the rebuilt distributor/no coil no ignition control module
