hi, i am somewhat interisted in doing this head swap as well...already have h22 in my accord, but i think this sounds like it would be a good motor to boost
but it would be a little while before i would be able to buy a turbo kit or make one, what type of hp/torque numbers or times is this running without any forced induction, any numbers yet? would like to know because this seems like the compression would almost be too low to keep it running on the street well without boost bu i may be wrong
Keep the f22a trans. If U use the h22a when you turbo that shit you gear ratios will be too short to keep traction in first and second. Its proven that the longer gears will give you better starts, when your putting down that kinda power.
btw- nice meeting you this weekend, sorry i wasnt really talkative, i was angry those cams didnt work for me, but this summer they will
same here on the meeting part and i understand completely been there am there now

funny you should say that..........its is broke down but not becuz it ahd to be but the clutch had to be replaced and the only way i could get the tranny out was to pull the motor( no way to drop it out the bottom couldnt get it up that high) so i figured what the hell ill go inside it and do some special things to it so when i get it back boost will not scare me at all and doing someother things to it basically just refreshing it just taking longer than i thought......work all the time and my machinest is sssssssssllllllllllllloooooooowwwwwwww

hate to bring up old shit but........ after findin gout a few things was wrong with my motor (not due to the swap) i though i was gonna build a nice bottom end out of my f22a1 until some of the price i recieved were a little to much to cough up at one time haveing 2 kids with one of them in school so i went and picked up an f22a4 out of the junk yard for little of nothing swapped the head and put the h22 tranny on it and the oil cooler from the h as well its alot more fun with the h tranny even though highway rides sux
