f22a1 is now dead... h23a1 swap bout to happen...

    f22a1 motor officially dead...

vid link on progess of swap... http://www.youtube.com/rtek72www.youtube.com/rtek72

just picked up a h23a1 from a 95 prelude from a local junkyard

the donor car has less than 86,000 miles on it
not bad in comparison to my cb7...
    almost 300,000

i run pizzas for a living
so i wear things out alot faster than most

read several of the swap threads
as far as i can tell it should change over fairly easy

also getting the ecu from the prelude

if anyone has any info for me i greatly appreciate you
have to get this car running ASAP

    only car i have
have not been able to work for the last few days

called several places trying to find a motor
even the one that came in the cb7

found lots of junk they were trying to pawn off to me
    this motor runs
    runs good

here is some pics from the junkyard....

    my cb7 92 accord lx

Thats a 1996 prelude so some things might be different because they changed to obd2 that year.

but being late 95 could be a possibility tho...

The engine should fit right in and it looks to have an external coil

In 1996 obd2 became mandatory for all cars sold in the United States

i doubt honda slipped under the radar, the car is surely different then the 92-95 ones but im not sure how much because i've never touched one before

You can use your OBD1 F22 injectors, same flow rating as the H23 injectors.
