obd 0 vs obd 1

i don't really specialize in the electronic department.
i heard from a civic guy that obd 0 is anything under 92 obd 1 is 92 - 95, and obd2 is 96+.....
I have a 90 accord lx and want to swap in an obd1 h22(yea i know h22's are becoming played out) anyway. if i were to buy a whole setu. p. engine, tranny, ecu, harnesses and all other engine components, prelude axles....where does the obd conversion come into play and how is it done. i also have to do a tranny swap(which should be fun AT ->MT) how about that is that difficult. i'm ready to do the engine swap, am unsure of obd jibbere jabber, and clueless on the tranny conversion..... help a brotha out!!!!!!!!!!!!

nope, your car is already obd1. all 90+ accords are obd1. the civic/tegs were different

so you're saying that if i get a matching h22 motor,harness, and ecu. i won't need to worry about electornix?? just plug n play?

essentially yes, as far as i know as long as you wire for VTEC (3 wires?) then you have a fully funtional h22 compatable wiring harness

SWEET i found a place that warentees them for 90 days, in NJ wthat can bring it crated to my front door same day for 2200.00 i'm all about it.

i'm w8ing till this summer for my swap hehe but i will do my self..
keep us up to date, my car is auto also i don't think i will do my manual swap )now cuz of low funds lol.

tell us how that auto to manual swap goes...i want to do that badly but lack the money and tools/knowledge necessary to do so...any additional knowledge about an auto to manual conversion would be greatly appreciated

haha actually i hadnt before i posted the above reply...but it looks like we have 3 different people who all need as much information as they can get about an auto to manual swap, we should all help eachother out
