I know everyone asks h22 this vtec that so I wanted to ask, is a B18 ls motor able to drop into my car and what transmission will work for me? I have a friend selling an Ls non vtec that is out of his EF hatch and he'd give it to me for cheap so I wanted to know if it is even possible before I do it

No, it will not drop in. It will require major fabrication and work to get it to work. Please refer to the swaps section for your best possibilities. -
wll thr next step for a cheap swap with more power than a ls..the f22b dohc non vtec is what u want...bolts right in no modification required at all.
