    Jdm Prelude Automatic Transmission

    i was wondering would a jdm prelude automatic tranny bolt up to my sohc f20a? i was lookin thru jdm Engine Depot and they selling it for 199.00 dollars but i don't know how much the shippin is yet. Also would jdm prelude tranny bolt up like the usdm prelude tranny? what would i need to make it fit the accord?

    JDM, USDM, doesn't matter what country it was sold in. Yes, it will mount up the same. You MIGHT need to tap a hole for the mount, I'm not positive. Someone else can give better information on that. You'll be using the Accord mount.

      what year is the lude tranny ?

        Any year will work. The only one you can't use is an ATTS unit from a Prelude SH or Type S (which you're not likely to get for $199 anyway...)

          you notice jdm engine depot has lowered prices?

            alright thanks deev another info you taught me. and bobbycos are they really going out of business? i was planning to buy a new h22a from there next summer. i'm going to gave them a call when i order my tranny.

              I've heard a number of stories of that company being shady. They could very well be getting sued and going under for that reason.

              The ONLY company I'd buy anything from is hmotorsonline.com. Their reputation is great, and I have personal experience with them (my only complaint is that I never got paperwork proving that my engine is legit, which I was promised... but I've never needed it anyway.)
