    Distributor/Fuel Injectors

Welcome back everybody! Long time no see!

Just before i'll start with my swap I wanted to ask you guys one question. So I got H22a4 which is OBD2. I know that i had to get a OBD1 fuel injectors, distributor and P13 ecu. Now, is it all direct plug in? Do i need to make some wiring modification? Does the distributor fit right in where the old one was?
For the injectors, what happens if ill get 440cc instead of 345 (or any bigger than 345)? And this same problem, do they fit right in, no wiring/plugs modification?

Thanks a lot everybody, glad to be back.

    note:
Do i use TD61U external or TD60U internal? Right now i think im using TD-77U which is external.
    Thanks

do you have a obd2 or obd1 dizzy?? if you have a obd2 dizzy, then your obd1 harness will not clip in. would recommend buying or getting an obd1 dizzy.

Well the engine itself is obd2 so i guess i would need a obd1 dizzy. The ecu p13 should plug right in. So the distributor would need a wiring conversion? I guess that would make sense since its OBD1 and the harness is obd2. Any links for a good conversion kit?

if your using the obd2 harness, then all you are going to need is the obd2a to obd1 ecu jumper harness which can be found on ebay for 30-40 bucks or you can go to www.rywire.com and pay 100-170 for one. you have to use an obd1 ecu p13, p28 for h22, p06 for h22..

right, since the harness goes straight form the engine to my ecu is that correct? Then why do i have to convert my distributor and fuel injectors?

the easyist way to do this swap is to convert the motor to obd1....
              use ur stock f22a harness
wire up the 3-4 wires(in h22 swap guide)
              get obd1 h22/23 dizzy.(h23 is external)
change injecters to obd 1 h22 injectors or any thing bigger as long as there obd1

              p13 obd 1 h22 ecu
              done..

              my new turbo build

or you can keep all obd2 everything, and just buy a obd2a to obd1 jumper harness and use the obd1 ecu.. done deal.. 30-50 bucks

you can rock OBD2 injectors. just use the OBD2 plugs. plus it gets rid of the resistor box

so just use obd2 injectors, cut obd2 plugs from h22a4 harness - connect it to f22 harness and remove resistor box? Will this work with P13 though?

any DIY of how to remove a resistor box? Not sure how the resistor box even works :/

never mind. I finally searched a little and i found like 20 post where you say stuff like :
"solder on the OBD2 pig tails onto the harness. then take the injector resistor box by the divers side fender, CUT it off & toss it. then take those 5 wires on the cars harness & connect them all together. thats how Im running OBD2 injectors on mine"

Haha sorry for trouble, should have done it earlier. Also, this will work with h22a1 dizzy? And last thing, to which 5 wires are you referring to?
